Our address is a bit of a long one, being at No. 6-9 in the Swastik Industrial Estate No. 2. We are located near the Range Office Naka in Village Gokhivare, which is part of Vasai East. It’s a bit of a maze back here in the estate, and if you don't know the way, you might end up circling around the same few blocks. Sonata Rubber Pvt. Ltd. takes up a few units in this row. The building has that typical industrial look, with high ceilings and heavy doors. We have stacks of material tucked into almost every corner, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have a big shipment coming in. The air usually has that distinct smell of rubber, which most of us don't even notice anymore. Outside, the road is narrow and often has trucks loading or unloading, which makes it a tight squeeze for cars. We have a small desk for paperwork near the front, but most of the action happens in the back where the presses are. It’s a hardworking environment, and we don't have much time for small talk, though we do have our jokes during the tea breaks. The village of Gokhivare is right there, so many of the guys just walk to work. It’s a practical location for what we do, and we’ve been part of this estate for quite some time. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place and the way the work gets done. It is not fancy but it is our daily spot.
