The shop is over at Chinchoti Naka in Vasai East. If you know the area, we are right next to the police chowky. It's a good landmark because the road can get a bit confusing for people who don't live around here. We handle construction machinery and different kinds of equipment. The yard has a lot of heavy stuff sitting around. We spend a lot of time out in the heat moving things or checking the engines. It is not a clean job, you usually go home with grease on your shirt. Shivam Construction Machinery & Equipment has been at this Survey No. 12 spot for a good while. We aren't some big corporation with a fancy lobby. It is just a workshop and a storage area where we get the work done. Some days the machines need a lot of attention and other days we are just waiting on parts to arrive. Being opposite the Royal Hills Resort makes it easier for people to spot us from the highway. We keep the gate open during the day and there is usually someone around to talk to. Most of our tools have seen better days but they still do the job fine. We aren't much for talking, mostly just focused on the repairs and the rentals that come in and out. It’s a busy life here near the N.H. 8 and the traffic can be a lot.
