Raychem Rpg is located right off the Western Express Highway in the East Kaman area. Being so close to the highway means it is always loud with the sound of trucks and cars zooming by. Our facility is a place where we do a lot of technical work. It is not the kind of office where you wear a suit and tie every day. Most of us are in work clothes because things can get a bit messy. We have a lot of equipment and materials piled up in different sections. It is a large space, but we seem to fill it up pretty quickly. The air is often thick with the smell of industrial materials and the sound of heavy machinery. We spend a lot of time checking specs and making sure things are built the way they are supposed to be. East Kaman is an industrial kind of place, so we fit right in with the neighbors. We are not trying to be the most modern or high-tech looking building on the block. We just care about getting the orders filled and shipped out on time. The highway makes it easy for transport, but it also means there is always dust in the air. We have got a routine that works for us, starting early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. It is just a place where things are made and people work hard. We do not have any big slogans, just a lot of work to do every day.
