Ramdhan Trading Co.

Ramdhan Trading Co. is located in Vasai West, specifically at Shops 1, 2, 3, and 4. We are right on Nirmal Road, and the Bhuigaon Phata bus stop is just across from us. It’s a very busy spot because of the bus stop and the Johnson Tiles company which is right opposite our place. Having four shops in a row gives us a good bit of space, but we still find ourselves running out of room because of all the trading goods we handle. The traffic on Nirmal Road never really seems to stop, so there’s always a hum of engines in the background. We spend our mornings unloading trucks and getting the shops ready for the day. It’s a lot of physical work, moving crates and boxes from one shop to another. We have a desk in Shop 1 where we keep the ledger and handle the money. The other shops are mostly used for storage and showing the items to people who come by. We’ve been here at Bhuigaon Phata for quite some time, so we know most of the bus drivers and the folks working across at Johnson Tiles. It’s a community feel, even though it’s a busy commercial road. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just old-fashioned hard work and keeping a close eye on the stock. When the sun goes down, we lock up the shutters one by one and head home.
