Nicholas Motor Industries

Our shop is at Plot No. 1 on Satvali Road over in Vasai East. It is one of those industrial stretches where there is always a truck idling or someone moving crates around. We have been in this spot for quite a bit, and we have seen the area change as more units opened up nearby. Being at Plot No. 1 makes it easy to explain where we are, though Satvali Road can get pretty crowded during the monsoon when the puddles start forming in the uneven patches. The building isn’t anything special to look at, just a solid place where we get the work done every day. We usually start the day with a quick tea from the stall down the road before we dive into the tasks at hand. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially with the way the sun hits the front of the unit, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. There is a lot of back and forth with the other workshops on this street. If someone needs a tool or a bit of help moving something heavy, we usually lend a hand. It’s a hardworking part of Vasai, and we fit right in with the rest of the folks here. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor; we just focus on making sure the day's list gets finished before the sun goes down and the traffic starts to pile up again.
