We are located over at Newan Ind. Estate in Waliv Vasai East. Modern Blow Moulding And Machinery occupies units 11 and 13. Having two units side by side helps us keep things somewhat organized, though it still gets pretty cramped in there most days. Blow moulding involves a lot of heat and plastic, so the smell is something you just get used to after the first week or so. The machines are pretty big and they make a lot of noise when they are running a full cycle, which is almost all the time. Waliv is a crowded area, so getting parts in and out can be a bit of a headache with the narrow roads and all the other trucks constantly blocking the way. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on the block. We often borrow a tool or a bit of advice from the neighbors when something tricky comes up with the hydraulics. Our office is just a small desk tucked into a corner with a lot of old files and samples of plastic bottles and containers we’ve made over the years. It’s not a place for people who like to stay clean. You’re going to get some grease or plastic dust on your clothes if you hang around for more than five minutes. We don't put on an act or try to sound like we are something we are not. We just run the machines, fix them when they break, and make sure the plastic flows right.
