You’ll find us out at Shivam Industrial Estate. It’s 144/14B, right off Tungareshwar Road near Sativali Village. It’s a bit of a drive from the main station, but it’s quieter out here in Vasai East. We do industrial work. The floor is usually covered in some sort of scrap or dust because that’s just how it goes when you’re making things. We have a few machines running most of the day. The noise is something you get used to after a week or so. I’ve been working here since we opened up. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to get the jobs done right so the parts fit where they are supposed to. Sometimes we have to redo things because the specs changed at the last minute. It’s frustrating but it’s part of the trade. The tea guy comes around at eleven and four, which is usually the highlight of the shift. We have some loyal workers who have stayed with us for years. It’s a tight space with a lot of heavy equipment. We keep the doors open when it gets too hot inside. It’s just a regular factory floor. No fluff. We just work. We like the routine of it. We get here early, drink some tea, and then start the machines. By the end of the day, we are tired but the work is done.
