Veda Days

Veda Days started out pretty simple here in Varkala. We’re just a small group of people who’ve lived around these parts for a long time. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so you’ll usually find us sitting inside under the fan, sorting through schedules or answering the phone when it rings. The office isn't anything fancy, just a room with some desks and a view of the trees outside. We spend most of our time talking to folks who come through town wanting to see the cliffs or find a quiet spot by the water. It’s funny how time moves differently here compared to the bigger cities. Some days are packed with work and others are slow, giving us a chance to catch up on paperwork or just have a tea together. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing because it doesn't fit the vibe of the place. We just try to be helpful when someone asks for a bit of guidance or needs a place to stay. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to shut the windows quick, which usually results in a bit of a mess. Our neighbors know us well, and we’re often out and about in the local market getting lunch. It’s a decent life, working here in Varkala, and we’ve been at it for a while now. We don't have a big grand plan, just keeping things running and making sure the people who find us are looked after.
