Hitech Margin Free Building Materials

We are set up on the Varkala Kallambalam Road. It is a busy stretch of road in Thiruvananthapuram and there is always something going on outside. The shop name is Hitech Margin Free Building Materials, which sounds a bit fancy, but we are actually just a regular group of people selling what you need for construction. People driving between Varkala and Kallambalam stop in quite a bit because they see the yard. We try to keep things organized but with building supplies, there is always a bit of a mess with the sand and the bags. It is just the way it goes in this trade. We spend most of our time out in the heat or dealing with the rain when the monsoon hits. Dealing with the customers is the main part of the day. Some people know exactly what they want and others just have a general idea, so we spend time talking it through. We don't have a big corporate team, just us here making sure the orders go out correctly. The road out front can get loud with the buses and cars passing by all day. It's a practical business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just sell materials and try to get the math right on the margins so people keep coming back to us. It gets tired by the evening but that’s just part of the job.
