K. B. International is located on Krishi Mandi Road in Pratapgarh. We are right near Archana Taakies, which is the big local cinema that everyone visits. Being on the Mandi Road means we are right in the middle of all the agricultural trade action. There are tractors and trucks moving by all day long, especially during the harvest seasons. It can get incredibly dusty and loud, but that’s just the vibe of the neighborhood. Our building is a simple one, nothing too tall or modern. Inside, we have our desks and a lot of samples lying around. We do a lot of international work, which is funny because the office feels so local and grounded. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights; usually, people just look for the theater and then they find us. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s when we usually take a break from the phones. The walls are covered with maps and a few old photos of the family. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to people; we just tell them what we have and what the price is. It’s a straightforward way of doing business that seems to work well for us here in Pratapgarh. Sometimes the movie music from the theater leaks into the office, which adds a bit of fun to the long afternoon shifts when we are finishing up the paperwork.
