Vision Point- Eye Clinic

We are situated in Durgakund, very close to the petrol pump. It is a convenient spot because almost everyone knows where that petrol pump is. Our clinic is a straightforward place where we look at eyes and figure out why things are looking blurry. We have been here for a while, and the clinic has a very local feel to it. There is no corporate management or anything like that; it is just us running the show every day. The smell of petrol occasionally drifts in when the wind is blowing the right way, but it is not too bad. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit on the ceiling, but it keeps the air moving. The floor is tiled in a simple grey pattern that hides the dirt well, which is good because people bring in a lot of dust from the road. We have a collection of old lens cases in a box for when people forget theirs. It is a very practical place. We do not have a uniform or anything; we just wear our regular clothes. This makes the patients feel more at ease, we think. Sometimes the neighbor's cat wanders in and sits under the chair for a while. We do not mind. It is just that kind of neighborhood. We do our best to get the prescriptions right and help people pick out frames that fit their budget.
