Vidhi Juices & Ice Cream Corner

Being on Chatikara Road means we see a lot of traffic every single day. We are right on the Main Road, not too far from the Lalita Ashram. It gets pretty loud with all the horns and people walking by. We spend a lot of time cutting up fruit for the juices and keeping the ice cream tubs full. The machines make a humming noise that you eventually stop hearing after a few hours. It is a small corner shop, nothing too big or complicated. People coming from the Ashram often stop in when the sun is hitting hard. We have some stools if people want to sit, but mostly they just grab something and go. My hands are usually sticky by the end of the shift from the oranges and mangoes. We try to keep the glass clean so people can see what we have, but the road dust is constant. It is just a routine of peeling, blending, and scooping. Some days are faster than others. When it rains, things slow down and we just sit and watch the water on the road. We have been here for a bit and the neighbors all know us by name now. It is a decent spot to be in, right in the middle of everything happening on this side of town. We just keep doing what we do every single day until it's time to lock up and head home for some rest.
