We are over at S 23/87 1 G in the Dhelwariya area of Varanasi. Being in a city like Varanasi means there is always noise and movement outside, but inside Vidhata Nidhi Limited, we try to keep things orderly. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the street. It’s just a practical space where we handle paperwork and talk to the locals. We’ve been set up in Dhelwariya for a while now. The people who come in are usually our neighbors or folks from the nearby markets. They come to us because we’re easy to reach and we don’t act like we’re better than anyone else. We handle small savings and help people keep track of their money. It’s a lot of manual work and checking books, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a marketing team or big posters on the walls. Most of the people who find us heard about us from a friend or a cousin. That’s how things work in this part of Uttar Pradesh. We appreciate the trust people put in us, so we try to be as clear as possible about how things work. There are no hidden tricks here. Just a small team working in a dusty office in Varanasi, trying to stay on top of the daily tasks. It’s a living, and it helps the people around us too.
