Verma Clinic

Our place, Verma Clinic, is situated right near the Police Chowki by the Bilthra Road Railway Station. It’s a very busy area because of the trains and the police station being right there. There is always someone passing by. We hear the train whistles all day long, which you get used to after a while. The clinic itself is modest. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work for everyone who comes in. There’s usually a bit of a breeze coming from the station side, which helps when it’s hot. We keep the doors open most of the time. The floor is just plain tile and we have a couple of benches for people to wait on. It’s a handy location for anyone traveling or living near the railway station. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through and others live right down the road. It’s a bit of a landmark because people use the Police Chowki to find us. We don’t spend much time on fancy things. We just make sure there’s enough light and a place to sit. It’s a simple setup at Bilthra Road. We’ve been here long enough that most of the regulars know our names. It’s just a local clinic doing its thing by the tracks. There are usually a lot of rickshaws parked outside too, which adds to the noise and the general feel of the place. It's just home.
