Varanasi Hospital

This hospital is at B-50 in the Jawahar Nagar extension. It’s an older building, but it serves its purpose for the folks living around here. I usually get here before the sun is fully up to make sure everything is ready for the morning rush. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we don't get as much heavy truck noise as some other places, but the scooters can be loud. We have a small area where people can sit while they wait to see the doctor. The benches are wooden and have been here as long as I can remember. We keep a few old magazines on the table, though most people just look at their phones these days. It’s a practical place. We deal with broken bones, fevers, and the usual stuff you’d expect. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we have a backup generator that kicks in with a big loud thump. Everyone knows that sound. We don't really have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. We are just here doing our jobs at B-50. Most of our patients are people we’ve seen for years. They know where we are and we know them. It’s just a standard local hospital in a quiet part of town. We try to keep the floors clean and the medicine cabinet stocked. That’s about it for our daily life here. We just want to get through the day and make sure everyone who comes in gets seen.
