Vaishnavi Ladies Corner And Beauty Parlour

My shop is Vaishnavi Ladies Corner and Beauty Parlour. We are on Hukulganj Road in the Pandeypur area of Varanasi. It’s a bit of a mix here. On one side, I have things like bangles, bindis, and hair clips for sale. On the other side, there is a chair and a mirror for the beauty work. It’s not a very big room, so it can feel a bit crowded when three or four ladies are inside. We do things like eyebrows, facials, and simple hair styling. Most of the women from the neighborhood come here because it’s convenient. They can buy their daily items and get a quick service at the same time. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people talking. I keep the door halfway closed sometimes to keep the dust out. During the wedding season, it gets very hectic. I have to call my niece to help with the bangles while I do the makeup. The lighting isn't perfect, but we make it work. It’s a local business, very simple and straightforward. I’ve lived in Varanasi all my life, so I know what people like. We don't have a big menu of prices on the wall. We just tell people what it costs. It’s an honest way to work. We are just happy to serve the ladies around here every day. It keeps me busy and the days pass fast.
