Ujiyaara Welfare Foundation

We started Ujiyaara Welfare Foundation here in Shivpur. Our office is at L-88, Lig in the Vda Colony. It’s just a small place where a few of us get together to see what needs doing in the neighborhood. Mostly we just talk to folks and try to help where we can. It isn't anything fancy, just some local people trying to make things a bit better for everyone around here. We’ve been at this for a little while now. Some days it is busy, other days it is quiet. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello or ask a question about something going on in the colony. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It's just us. We spend a lot of time walking around and seeing how people are getting on. If someone needs a hand with something basic, we try to be there. The address is easy to find if you know the area. We like being part of the community this way. It feels right to do something useful instead of just sitting around. We don't really do big speeches or posters. It’s more about the small stuff that happens every day. Sometimes we organize little meetings to discuss things like water or road issues. Other times we just help a neighbor with their paperwork or something like that. It keeps us busy and connected to the people living right here next to us in Shivpur. We don't have a lot of rules, we just try to be decent neighbors to everyone.
