You’ll find us at Singhal Parkashan in Bulanala, specifically at Ck-15/96A within Vasant Market in the Sudiya area. It’s one of those parts of town where the lanes are narrow and things are always moving. Our shop is tucked away in the market, surrounded by other small businesses and vendors. It can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with books and various publications we’ve worked on. There isn't much room for a lounge or anything like that because we need all the space for the inventory. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. The walls have some marks from moving crates, and the floor is a bit worn, but it’s a comfortable place for us. We spend our days answering the phone and packing up orders for local customers. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment; it’s mostly just us and our ledgers. The noise from Vasant Market usually drifts in through the door, so it never feels too lonely. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking nearby, so we usually just walk or use scooters. It is a simple life here in Bulanala. We know our neighbors and we know our business. We aren't looking to change much as long as the work keeps coming in. Most people who buy from us have known our family for a generation, and we like keeping it that way because it feels more personal than a big store.
