Singh Clinic

This clinic is right on Railway Station Road, so it stays pretty noisy with the trains coming and going all day. Being near the Bilthra Road Railway Station means we get a lot of people just passing through. It's a small place, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We’ve got a few benches for people to sit while they wait. The floor is that old tile that’s hard to keep perfectly white, but we try. Dr. Singh has been working here for years. He’s used to the sound of the whistles by now. Usually, it's just one or two of us helping out with the paperwork and the patients. We see a lot of coughs, fevers, and general stuff. People come in straight from the platform sometimes. It’s convenient for them. The hours depend on the day, but we try to be here when the main trains arrive. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we get our chai. If you’re coming to see us, just follow the road toward the station and you’ll see the Singh Clinic sign. It’s a bit faded but you can still read it. We just do our work and go home. No fancy machines, just the basics for the local community. It is a humble place for sure.
