We've been at C- 28/ 47 A here in Telia Bagh for a while now. Most days start around nine when the shutters go up and we sweep out the dust that settled overnight. It's not a huge place, just enough room for the stock and a couple of chairs for whoever stops by. Telia Bagh gets pretty crowded by noon, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. Usually, it's just us sorting through the latest batches of fabric or checking the lists. Sometimes the tea man from down the street brings over a few cups, and we take a break right there at the counter. People walk in looking for specific things, and if we have it, we pull it off the shelf. If not, we tell them where else they might look. It’s a simple way to spend the day. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just stacks of material and a ledger that's getting a bit old. The lights flicker sometimes when the power acts up, but we just keep going. It’s mostly about keeping the shelves organized and making sure everything is where it belongs. By the time evening rolls around, the street is noisy with traffic, and we start packing things back up. It’s a job like any other, keeping us busy from morning till night in this little corner of the city.
