Running a hospital in Gilat Bazar is a lot of work. We are located at S-8/342-K in the Shivpur area. It's a busy neighborhood and things never really stop around here. The building isn't brand new, and you can tell we’ve been here for some time. We have doctors and nurses moving around constantly, trying to keep up with everyone coming through the doors. It can get a bit hectic in the mornings especially. We don't have those fancy automatic doors or a gourmet cafeteria like the big private hospitals in the city center. We just focus on taking care of the people who live nearby. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded and the fans aren't enough on a hot day, but we do what we can. Shyama India Hospital is basically just a place where people come when they aren't feeling well. We try to keep the paperwork simple because no one likes filling out forms when they're sick. It's a local place. Most of us live nearby, so we see our patients at the market too. We aren't trying to be the biggest hospital around, just a reliable one. The halls are narrow and the paint might be chipping in a few spots, but the equipment works and the staff cares about what they're doing. It is a humble place, but we take the work seriously every single day.
