Varanasi is a crowded place, and we are right in the middle of it at Shop No 2 in Parvati Katra. If you know Chunar Road, you probably know where Kesharwani Stores is because everyone goes there for stuff. We are just across from them. Some days it gets really hot and dusty outside, but we keep the fans going and stay busy with our papers. It’s not a huge office, just a practical space where we can sit down and get things done without too much fuss. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign while passing by on their way to the market. We have been here for a bit now, and the neighbors are good people. Sometimes we get tea from the stall nearby and just talk about what needs to be finished for the week. It’s just how things go here. The traffic on Chunar Road never really stops, so there is always a bit of background noise while we work. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate thing because that's not us. We just focus on the work on the desk and try to keep things organized. If the power goes out, we just wait a bit or use the backup like everyone else in the area does. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. You find us there most mornings until late evening, just doing our bit.
