Shaktiananda Babaji Foundation

We are located right over at Meer Ghat, specifically at D 3/27 near Dashshwamedh in Varanasi. If you’ve ever walked those narrow lanes, you know how it gets during the busy hours. Our place, the Shaktiananda Babaji Foundation, is right in the middle of all that history and noise. It isn't a modern office building with glass windows or anything like that. It is just a regular spot where we get our work done every day. Some of us have lived in this neighborhood our whole lives, so we’re used to the crowds of pilgrims and the smell of the river nearby. The building is old and has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit much if you’re carrying things. We spend most of our time just managing the daily tasks that come up. It is mostly quiet inside despite what's happening on the street. We don’t really do fancy meetings. It’s more about sitting down and dealing with whatever is on the desk that morning. The fan in the main room makes a bit of a clicking sound, but we don't mind it much. It’s just how things are at our foundation. We’ve been at this address for a good while and people around here know where to find us if they need anything. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do here in the city. We open early most days.
