Shahab Bros. Industries

Out here in Khamaria, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Our place is in Bhajaipur, and it’s basically just a large shed and a few rooms where we keep the supplies. The Shahab brothers started this because there wasn't much else to do around here back then. We mostly deal with local materials. You can hear the sounds of the work from down the road. It’s a dusty area, especially when the wind picks up in the summer. We don't have a big team, just a handful of people from the village who have been with us forever. We sit together for lunch most days under the tree out back. The paperwork is the part we like the least, but it has to be done if we want to send things out. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out. It gives us a chance to talk or fix something that’s been broken for a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out is decent and that the people working here get paid on time. It’s a simple life in Bhajaipur. Not much changes from year to year, and we like it that way. We don't use any fancy management software, just a notebook and some patience. It works for us and has for years.
