Scissors 1 Saloon

We are over here in Amar Nagar Sigra, right on Sonia Road in Varanasi. If you know where Arvind Medical Store is, we are just near that. It’s a small shop, nothing too crazy, but we keep the scissors sharp and the chairs ready. Mostly we just handle the local guys who need a quick trim or a shave before heading off to work. The street gets pretty loud and busy during the day, which is just how it is in this part of town. I’ve lived around here for a long time and decided to open this place because people always need a haircut. We don't have fancy lights or big signs, just a simple mirror and some basic tools. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on weekends, so people just sit and chat while they wait their turn. It’s a good way to hear what’s happening in the neighborhood. We try to keep things moving so nobody stays waiting too long. My hands are usually busy from morning until we close up at night. Varanasi is a place where you meet all sorts of people, and they all come through the door eventually. It is just a regular life here, cutting hair and making sure everyone looks okay when they leave. There is nothing more to it than that, really. We just show up every day and do the work that needs to be done for our neighbors and friends who live around Sonia Road.
