Satyeshwar Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at C32/27, A-1K in Anapurna Nagar. It is right there in the Vidhya Peth area. It is a very busy part of town. You can hear the sounds of metal hitting metal most of the day. We have been doing engineering work here for a long time. The floor is usually covered in some kind of oil or metal shavings. We try to sweep it but it just gets messy again by noon. It is hard work and it gets very hot in the summer months. We have some big machines that take up most of the floor space. There is a small office area tucked in the corner where we keep the ledgers and the phone. It smells like grease and old iron in here. We do not mind it though. It is the smell of work. Most of our customers are locals who need something fixed or a specific part made. We do not have a fancy sign outside. People just know where we are located. We sit on plastic chairs during our lunch break. The tea here is always made very strong. We do not have a big corporate structure or anything. Just some skilled hands and a few old machines that still run better than the new ones. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise we make, but most of them are doing the same kind of work anyway. It is just how life is.
