Down in Ramapuri Colony, near the Sankat Mochan area, you will find Satkriti Hospitals Private Limited. The exact spot is B 32/28 B-19. It’s a residential-looking area, which makes the hospital feel a bit less intimidating than those giant glass and steel buildings. We have a small gate at the front and a bit of a driveway. The trees nearby give some nice shade, which is helpful during the hot months in Varanasi. Inside, it usually smells like disinfectant and maybe a bit of tea. Our staff members usually bring their lunch from home, so you might catch the smell of home-cooked dal around noon. We have beds set up for patients who need to stay, and the rooms are pretty basic. There are no fancy televisions or luxury suites here. It’s just beds, stands for IV drips, and some chairs for the relatives to sit in. The flow of people is constant. Some come for the morning OPD and others arrive late at night. We try to keep the records organized, but sometimes the files get a bit messy in the metal cabinets.
