Sarweshwari Engg. Works

We've been at Munshi Ghat for a while now. It's D-20/1, right in Bangali Tola. The shop gets pretty busy during the day because of where we are. Usually, you can hear the machines running from the street. It’s an old part of town, so the roads are narrow and sometimes parking is a headache for folks coming by. We do various engineering jobs here. My father started things, and I just kept it going. There isn't much space inside, just enough for the lathes and some tools. Sometimes the rain makes the roof leak a bit, but we fix it when we can. Most of the guys working here live nearby. We start early in the morning, around eight, and try to wrap up by seven in the evening. People know us in the neighborhood. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk with a lot of papers on it and some grease on the floor. It stays hot in the summer because of the machines and the lack of big windows. We just drink a lot of tea and keep at it. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near the corner. It’s faded a bit, but you can still see the name. We mostly handle small parts and repairs that locals bring in. Nothing too fancy. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because the Ghat is a popular spot. We don't mind helping out. It’s just how things are around here.
