Sarojini Naidu Hospital is situated in the Lohta area, specifically in Banakat Newada. If you are familiar with Lohta, you know it is a place where things are always moving. Our hospital is a local landmark for people living in this part of the district. The building has been around for a while and shows its age in some spots, but it is a solid place. We handle a lot of different medical cases every day. It is not just one thing; we see people for all kinds of reasons. The hallways are usually busy with families and staff members moving back and forth. We have a lot of rooms for patients who need to stay overnight. It can get pretty loud during visiting hours, but that is part of being a community hospital. We don't have a big corporate team running things from an office far away. Most of the people working here are from around Lohta or Banakat Newada themselves. We just focus on the patients and making sure we have enough supplies for the week.
