We are located in Sarnath, specifically at Sa 22/4, Pulkohana Puranapul. Varanasi is a busy city, but our little corner here feels a bit more settled. Sakaar Sanchay Nidhi Limited is where we handle various financial things for the local community. It’s a modest setup with a few desks and a safe for documents. People come in and out all day long. Some are neighbors we’ve known for years. We spend a lot of time talking to folks about their savings and how they want to manage their small bits of money. It isn't a high-pressure environment. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. The office gets a lot of light in the mornings. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always cleaning the windows. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. It is just steady, honest work. Most of us walk to work or take a quick rickshaw ride. We know where the good tea stalls are nearby. When you step inside, you won’t see any flashy signs or expensive furniture. It’s just us and our ledgers. We try to be helpful and listen to what people need. Dealing with money is serious, so we take our time with the paperwork. It’s important to get it right. That is pretty much our daily routine in Sarnath. We keep the doors open until the evening.
