Sai Traders

Our business, Sai Traders, is located at CK-48/3 Harha Rajadarwaja Chowk. It’s a very old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and always full of people and cows. The building itself is also quite old and has a lot of character, though the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We sell all sorts of general items and household goods. Boxes are usually stacked up wherever we can find room, often blocking the walkway a little bit. It’s just how it is when you have a lot of stock in a small shop. We don't have a computer system for everything, so a lot of our notes are still written by hand in big ledgers. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for years. We know their families and they know ours. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a fan running full blast behind the counter. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting to attract people. They just know we are here at the Chowk. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy items around and checking the inventory every week. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent shop and provide what people need.
