Rose Gents Beauty Parlour

Rose Gents Beauty Parlour is located at Alior Ghat Chouraha in the Mizapur area of Varanasi. We are quite close to the Varanasi Cantt part of the city. Our shop is a basic place where men from the local area come to get a haircut or a shave. We don't have any big, expensive machines or luxury furniture. It’s just a few sturdy chairs, some large mirrors, and our set of tools. The area around Alior Ghat is usually very busy, especially with all the people moving towards the river or the station. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. We start work early because many men like to get their grooming done before they head off to their jobs. We don't have a polished way of speaking or any marketing tricks. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because most of them are. The shop is small, so it can get a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind much. We use traditional methods for shaving and cutting hair. We keep the floor swept and the towels clean. It’s just a simple, honest way to make a living in a city like Varanasi. We like the fact that people trust us with how they look. We don't need anything more than that to keep going every day in this busy part of the city.
