In the heart of Varanasi, specifically at the Beniabag Tiraha in Sigra, you will find our dawakhana. This is one of the busiest intersections you can imagine. There is always the sound of horns and people shouting, which is just how life is in this city. Our shop is right there in the thick of it. When you walk inside, the noise of the Tiraha fades away just a little bit. It is a small place, filled with the scent of various medicines and powders. We have been here at this location for a good while, and the walls have seen a lot of people come and go. The counter is old wood, smoothed down by years of people leaning on it while they talk. We don't have a lot of space, so things are tucked into every corner. The staff knows exactly where every bottle is kept. Most of our visitors are people from the Sigra area who have been using these remedies for years. They stop by on their way to the market or after finishing work. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so bad that people just pop in to wait for the road to clear. We don't mind the company.
