Ravi Namkeen (Opc) Private Limited

Ravi Namkeen is over here at B 7/2 Ananta Colony in Nadesar. We started this small namkeen business because we know how much people like their snacks around here. It is just a modest place, nothing like those big fancy factories you see on TV. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area which gets quite hot, especially during the summer months. There are big metal pans and heaps of flour everywhere. We don't have a professional cleaning crew, so we do all the scrubbing ourselves every evening before we lock up. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We make things like sev and bhujia, the usual stuff you’d have with a cup of tea. Sometimes the spices are a bit stronger one day than the next, but that’s just how it goes when you’re doing it by hand. Nadesar is a crowded area, so there’s always noise coming from the street outside. We buy our supplies from the local markets when we can. We don't have any big slogans or a mission statement written on the wall. It’s just us trying to make good snacks that people will want to buy again. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the neighbors are used to the smell of oil and spices coming from our gate. It’s a simple life, and we are just glad to have the work. We just keep the stoves going every morning.
