My shop is right here in Khojwa Bazar, and I’ve been around for a long time now. People around Varanasi know this spot. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, but the chairs are comfortable enough. I mostly do haircuts and shaves for the men who live nearby. Some days it gets really busy, especially on weekends when everyone wants to look neat for work or a wedding. I usually start early in the morning and keep the doors open until the evening. You can find us easily because we’re in the middle of the market. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the place cool. My regulars come in and we talk about what's happening in the neighborhood while I work. It’s just how things go here. I don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure people leave looking better than when they walked in. The mirror has a few spots on it sometimes, but you can see your face just fine. We use the standard tools, scissors, combs, and a razor. Nothing too modern. If you're walking through Khojwa, you'll see the sign. It’s a simple life.
