R K Netralaya Hospital

We are located right here in Mahmood Ganj, and it stays pretty busy most days. R K Netralaya Hospital has been part of this neighborhood for a while now. You can find us easily enough on the main road in Mahmood Ganj. Usually, the morning starts with checking the equipment and making sure the waiting area is tidy before the first lot of patients shows up. People come in with all sorts of eye problems, some just needing a new pair of glasses and others worried about things like cataracts or blurry vision. It gets a bit crowded sometimes, especially on Mondays, but we try to get through the list as steady as we can. The rooms aren't fancy or anything, just practical spaces where the doctors can look at your eyes. We have the usual charts on the walls and the machines that blow a bit of air or show those little pictures you have to focus on. Most of our staff lives nearby, so we know the local faces. Sometimes the power cuts out for a minute and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, but that’s just how things go around here. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass surfaces because of the dust from the road. It’s a basic place where the focus is just on getting people’s sight sorted out. We don’t have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small spot for water and some chairs that have seen better days but still do the job.
