Prakash Metric Kendra

Prakash Metric Kendra is our shop located at Bada Ganesh on Lauhatia Road. If you know where Viveka Nanad P.S School is, you’ll find us easily since we’re right near there. Our place is quite old-fashioned, dealing mostly in scales and all sorts of measuring tools. When you walk in, you’ll see shelves lined with iron weights, precision balances, and older mechanical scales. It’s a bit of a niche business, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years. The shop has high ceilings and a big front door that we roll up every morning to start the day. Lauhatia Road is a busy street, especially with the school and the temple nearby, so there’s always the sound of people and traffic outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of metal clinking and the ceiling fan whirring overhead. We don't use much technology here; most of our records are still kept in big bound registers. It’s a method that has worked for us for a long time. The neighbors are friendly, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. We aren't looking to become a big company or expand to other cities. We’re happy being a local fixture here in Bada Ganesh. It’s honest work that keeps us connected to the people on Lauhatia Road. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our customers satisfied.
