We have different rooms for different things, and the hallways are usually lined with benches where people sit and wait for news. The staff stays on their feet most of the time. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in this part of town. Outside, the area near the Tahseel is always crowded with rickshaws and people rushing to get their paperwork done. It makes for a lot of noise during the day.
