Pandey Clinic

If you go down to the Railway Station Road in Bilthra Road, you will find Pandey Clinic right there near the station. It’s a noisy spot because of the trains. You can hear the whistles blowing and the announcements from the platforms all day long. A lot of our patients are people who are either catching a train or have just gotten off one. We have a small storefront with a bench outside where people sometimes sit if the inside is full. The clinic is quite narrow, so we have to be organized with how we store everything. There’s a counter where we talk to everyone who walks in. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on the highest setting, but it keeps the air moving. People from all walks of life come through because of the railway station being so close. Some are just passing through and need something quick, while others are locals who have lived in Bilthra Road their whole lives. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn down from all the feet walking over them. We don't have any fancy decorations, just a calendar on the wall and a clock that’s a few minutes fast. It’s a practical little place. We start early to catch the morning commuters and we don't close until the evening trains have mostly finished for the day.
