P. K . Jents Parlours

P. K . Jents Parlours is situated on Pandeur Road in the Pahariya area of Varanasi. Varanasi is a very old city with lots of narrow streets, but Pahariya is a bit more spread out. Our shop is right there on the road. It is a place for men to get a shave or a haircut. We have the rotating chairs and the glass cabinets where we keep the razors and combs. The traffic on Pandeur Road is constant. You hear the cows, the bikes, and the cars all day long. Inside, we have a fan that rattles a little bit, but it keeps us cool enough when it is hot outside. We do not have any fancy decorations. The walls are mostly covered with mirrors so people can see what we are doing. In the mornings, we splash water on the front step to keep the dust down. Men come in and talk about the news or the weather. It is a very normal place. We do not use any professional marketing talk because everyone knows who we are. We have been at this Pahariya location for a good while now. We just do the work and close up when it gets dark. The 221007 area is home to us. It is not a shiny salon, just a regular jents parlour where you can sit down and get your hair cut without any fuss.
