Nea Five Star Salon

Nea Five Star Salon is located on Luxa Road in the Godowlia area of Varanasi. It’s a very crowded part of town, right in Ramapura. You can hear the rickshaws and the people shouting outside all day long. Our salon is a place where we try to give people a break from all that chaos. We called it Five Star, but we are just regular people working here. We have the usual stuff—scissors, combs, and mirrors that have seen a lot of faces. Varanasi is an old city, and Godowlia is its heart. Being at 221001 means we see tourists and locals alike. Some people just want a quick trim, while others are getting ready for a wedding or a festival. We don't have a polished script for when people walk in. We just say hello and ask what they need. The floors get covered in hair pretty quickly on a Saturday. We try to keep up with the cleaning, but it's a losing battle until the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be something we're not. It’s just a salon on Luxa Road. We know the tea seller nearby and the other shopkeepers. It’s a small world in Ramapura. We just keep the lights on and the scissors moving. If you’re around Godowlia, you’ll find us easily enough among all the other shops and signs.
