My Choice Ladies Beauty Parlor

My Choice Ladies Beauty Parlor sits on Lahartara Road in the Mandaudih area of Varanasi. If you are familiar with the roads around here, you know it can be a bit chaotic with all the rickshaws and people moving toward the station. The shop is tucked away, and we have a small sign outside so people can find us easily. Inside, it is just a plain room with the basic things like a couple of chairs, some mirrors, and the supplies we need for threading and facials. Varanasi is a place where everyone is always busy, so women usually come in when they have a spare hour away from their chores at home. We don’t have any of those modern machines that make a lot of noise. It’s just me and maybe one other person helping out on busy days. We keep our towels clean and try to make the space feel okay for whoever is sitting there. The Lahartara road is always loud, but once you step inside, it is a bit more relaxed. I like to keep a few magazines around for when there is a wait, though most people just check their phones now. We do what we can with what we have. It’s a simple business for local women who live around Mandaudih and need a place that is close to their house. We don’t try to be anything else but a local parlor for the neighborhood ladies.
