Murli Manohar Greh Udyog

Murli Manohar Greh Udyog is based at W-61/2 in Azad Nagar. This is essentially a home-based business that grew a bit over the years. We make small household items and snacks right here. It’s a family thing, really. My wife and my mother do most of the preparation, and I handle the selling and the sourcing of raw materials. Our house is always full of the smell of whatever we are making that day. Azad Nagar is a crowded place, and our unit is tucked away in a small lane. You have to look closely for the number on the door. We don't have a big signboard or anything fancy. Most people find out about us from their neighbors. We use traditional methods for our products because that’s how we learned to do it. It takes more time, but we don't mind. We use the small room at the front as our office and storage area. Boxes are stacked up everywhere, sometimes even in the hallway. It gets a bit tight when we have a big order to finish. We don't really have a fixed schedule; we just work until the job is done. Sometimes we are up late packing things into plastic bags. It’s a simple life and we are just trying to build something for our kids.
