Mini Mahal Casmetic Shop

Our shop is tucked away in the J P Complex at Jagat Ganj. If you are looking for Hotel Pradeep, we are right near there in Varanasi. It isn't a huge place, just a regular cosmetic shop where we try to keep the shelves full of whatever people need. We spend a lot of time checking the stock of bindis, bangles, and lipsticks. Dealing with distributors in the narrow lanes of Varanasi is always an adventure. Most mornings, I’m just unpacking boxes and trying to find space for new bottles on the shelves. People come in looking for specific shades of nail polish or just a simple comb. It gets quite crowded in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We’ve been at C 27/154B for some time now, and we know the other shopkeepers around the complex pretty well. We don’t really do any big advertisements or anything. People just find us because they are walking by or their neighbor told them we had a certain cream in stock. Sometimes the light in the shop is a bit dim, but we manage. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to customers about what works for their skin. We just keep things moving, one sale at a time, making sure we don't run out of the basics that everyone asks for every day.
