Maxx Hair Saloon

Our place, Maxx Hair Saloon, is located right on Orderly Bazar Road in Varanasi. You can find us pretty easily because we are right opposite Chandra Jweller. Varanasi is a place that never really stops, and our street is no different. We have been here for a good amount of time, watching the cycles of the city. The shop itself is simple. We have a few barber chairs and big mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. We didn't want anything too corporate or stiff, so the walls are just a plain color and we keep things organized in our own way. Usually, there’s a bit of music playing in the background or just the sound of the clippers. People come in from the market nearby, sometimes just to sit for a bit before getting their hair cut. It gets a bit dusty on the road outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass. The location near Chandra Jweller helps people find us when they are lost. It’s a practical setup, nothing too modern, just the tools we need to do the job. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s the kind of shop where you can just show up and wait your turn. We like the neighborhood feel of Orderly Bazar. It’s been home to us for a long time. We plan to stay here as long as the city keeps moving around us. It's just a regular life here on this road.
