Marwari Hospital

Our hospital is located in the Godowlia area of Varanasi. The full name is the Sriram Lakshminarayan Marwari Hindu Hospital, but most people just call us Marwari Hospital for short. We are right in the thick of things in one of the busiest parts of the city. Being in Godowlia means there is always a lot of noise and activity right outside our doors. The hospital has a very long history here, and the building reflects that with its older architecture and high ceilings. We see a massive amount of people every day, including locals from the winding lanes of Varanasi and pilgrims who might fall ill while visiting the city. It’s a hectic place to work, but we are used to the pace. We don't have any fancy bells or whistles. The focus is strictly on providing medical care to anyone who walks in. The registration desk is usually crowded from early morning. We don't use much technology for the sake of it; we stick to what works for our patients. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you aren't used to it, but the staff is always around to point you in the right direction. We don't put out brochures or have a PR team. The hospital exists to serve the public in this crowded, ancient part of town, and that’s what we spend our time doing every day of the week.
