Karnika Pharmaceuticals

We are located in Surya Bagh Colony, which is over in Mahmoorganj. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main city markets, which I like. Karnika Pharmaceuticals isn’t a big factory or a fancy corporate office. We handle medicines and healthcare items here. Mostly our work involves getting supplies to the local shops or the nearby hospitals. My office is tucked away in the back of the building and it stays pretty cool back there even when the sun is hitting the front. We have a lot of metal shelves filled with boxes and bottles. Keeping track of expiry dates and batch numbers is what takes up most of our time. It is serious work because you really can't afford to make mistakes when you are dealing with medicine. We don't have a very big staff, just a few people who have lived in this area and worked with us for a long time. We know most of the doctors around here and the other pharmacists too. Sometimes the delivery vans have trouble finding the exact lane in Mahmoorganj because the turns are quite narrow and confusing. We usually have to go out to the corner and wave them in. It’s not a glamorous job at all, just a lot of checking lists and moving heavy crates around. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. People know they can find us if they need something.
