Mahi'S Artifact

Mahi'S Artifact is our shop in Mohanpuri Colony, which is in the Karaundi area. We are located right opposite Chandra Vimla Vihar. It’s a nice enough neighborhood, mostly quiet until the students from Dhirendra Mahila Maha Vidyalaya start walking to their classes. Being near the college means we see a lot of young people passing by our window every day. We have all sorts of artifacts and decorative things inside the shop. Some of them have been sitting on the shelves for a while, so we have to dust them quite often. The light in the shop is a bit dim, but it makes the items look more interesting to the people who walk in. We don't have any big sales pitches or anything like that. People just come in and look around at their own pace. Sometimes they buy something for their home, and sometimes they just browse. We sit at the front desk and wait for the bell to ring on the door. It’s a slow business, but we like it that way. The colony is a bit tucked away, so it’s not as noisy as the main market areas. We’ve got some plants outside the door that we try to keep alive, though the heat makes it quite difficult. It’s just a small shop where we keep busy with our collection of things. We don't really use social media or anything to get people to visit our little corner.
