Varanasi is a city with a lot of history, but where we are in JagatGanj, it feels like a very busy marketplace every single day. Magnifique Lifestyle Private Limited is located at J 12/20-B-3. It is a bit tucked away, so you really have to know where you are going to find the entrance. The streets around here are quite narrow and usually filled up with rickshaws and people carrying heavy bundles of cloth on their shoulders. Our place is just a part of that daily buzz. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the walls are covered with sketches and loose threads. It is not the kind of lifestyle brand you see in shiny magazines. It is more of a hands-on operation where we are always checking the quality of the fabrics we use. The tea at the corner shop is good, and we usually have a cup while we talk about the day’s tasks. We don’t bother with slogans or big marketing words. We just focus on the products we handle. Varanasi has its own slow pace, and we have learned to work with it. Sometimes the heat gets to be a bit much, so we start early in the morning to get things done. Our staff are mostly local people from Uttar Pradesh- 221002. We just keep doing what we know how to do without making a big deal out of it. It is just our daily work.
