Madhur Ice Cream

Our place is right on Sir Mour Road in Khutehi, sitting just next to Krishna Medical. It is a convenient spot for people who are out running errands or heading home. We started this because there wasn't a good place to get a cold scoop around this part of town. It is a simple shop with a few freezers and a counter. We spend most of our time keeping everything clean and making sure the temperature stays right. If the ice cream gets too soft, it ruins the whole batch, so we are always checking the dials. We get our milk from the local dairy every morning. It makes a difference in the taste, at least we think so. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word just spreads by people telling their neighbors. Some days it is quiet and we just sit and talk to the regulars who come in for a quick cup of vanilla or chocolate. Other days, like during the festivals, it's a madhouse in here. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets messy. That is just the way it is when you are dealing with melting ice cream and kids. We are happy to be part of the Khutehi community. It is a good neighborhood and we know most of the people who walk through that door by name. We plan to stay right here for years.
